WHY THIS RULES:

Ao Gennai’s Happy Monochrome release is a good example of why character model kits can scratch a completely different itch from mecha building. The 1/10 kit pairs pastel-pink hair with a darker school-uniform palette, then adds enough face, hair, hand, and pose options to make the finished character feel highly customizable. It is cute on the surface, but there is plenty of actual building and configuration depth underneath that look.

Finished height is approximately 159 mm, about 6.3 inches, which gives Ao a solid display presence without pushing her into large-statue territory. Ao Gennai is the cheerful human heroine at the center of the Frame Arms Girl anime, an ordinary high school student whose life becomes considerably less ordinary when a mysterious package containing the tiny robot girl Gourai arrives at her home.
