WHY THIS RULES:

Every great holiday movie needs somebody making life miserable for the hero, and Scut Farkus handles that job with enthusiasm in A Christmas Story. Pop! #2145 brings Ralphie’s neighborhood bully into the lineup with his instantly recognizable cold-weather look and furry hat. He is not the warm-and-fuzzy side of Christmas nostalgia, but that is exactly why he belongs in the collection.

At approximately 4.3 inches tall, Scut is slightly taller than many standard Pop! figures and has enough vertical presence to stand out beside the rest of the Parker-family lineup. The compact vinyl format keeps him easy to place in a holiday display while still making the character readable at a glance. Put him near Ralphie and the shelf practically starts looking for a snow-covered alley.

WHAT IT'S GOT:

Neighborhood Bully Energy

Scut Farkus brings one of A Christmas Story’s most memorable antagonists into the Pop! Movies lineup, giving Ralphie somebody to glare at across the shelf.

Approximately 4.3 Inches Tall

This figure stands a little taller than many standard Pop! releases, helping Scut’s lankier silhouette stand out in a grouped display.

Signature Winter Look

The furry cold-weather hat and bundled styling make the character easy to recognize from his scenes tormenting Ralphie and his friends.

Pop! Movies #2145

An officially licensed A Christmas Story release designed to pair naturally with the rest of the holiday movie lineup.

A Christmas Story Scut Farkus Funko Pop! #2145 - Funko - Funko Pops

Scut Farkus is the yellow-eyed neighborhood bully whose reign of terror over Ralphie and his friends ends in one unforgettable snowy confrontation.

Scut Farkus

Scut Farkus is the neighborhood bully who terrorizes Ralphie Parker and his friends in A Christmas Story, stalking the winter streets with Grover Dill and an apparently legendary pair of yellow eyes.

At least according to Ralphie.

Farkus occupies an enormous amount of space in the boys’ imagination. He lurks behind fences, chases them through alleys, twists arms, demands surrender, and seems to represent the unavoidable natural predator of every kid trying to walk home from school in peace.

That makes Ralphie’s eventual confrontation with him such a powerful childhood moment.

After one humiliation too many, Ralphie finally snaps and attacks Scut with years of accumulated anger, transforming the seemingly unbeatable neighborhood terror into another crying kid in the snow.

For Ralphie, it becomes “the Scut Farkus affair.”

For Scut, presumably, it becomes a very bad afternoon.

Either way, those yellow eyes stop looking quite so supernatural afterward.
