WHY THIS RULES:

Some holiday memories involve presents, snow, and family traditions. Ralphie’s involve learning exactly what happens when the wrong word escapes at the wrong time. Pop! #2144 turns the famous soap-in-the-mouth punishment from A Christmas Story into a compact collectible, complete with the red bar of soap that makes the scene instantly recognizable.

At approximately 3.6 inches tall, this Ralphie is standard Pop! territory, which makes him easy to tuck into a holiday display without demanding much shelf space. What gives the figure its personality is the scene-specific accessory rather than extra size or complexity. It is funny, painfully relatable for a certain generation, and just specific enough to make an A Christmas Story shelf feel more like the movie.

WHAT IT'S GOT:

The Soap-in-the-Mouth Scene

This release recreates one of Ralphie’s most infamous punishments, with the red bar of soap providing the visual punchline.

Approximately 3.6 Inches Tall

The figure stays comfortably within standard Pop! scale, making it easy to work into a crowded holiday or movie display.

Scene-Specific Ralphie Variant

Rather than another generic Ralphie pose, Pop! #2144 captures a very specific movie moment that fans can identify immediately.

Pop! Movies #2144

An officially licensed A Christmas Story collectible that pairs naturally with Randy, Scut Farkus, and other characters from the film.

Ralphie Parker is the imaginative Christmas-obsessed kid whose relentless campaign for a Red Ryder BB gun drives A Christmas Story.

Ralphie Parker

Ralphie Parker is the imaginative kid at the center of A Christmas Story, spending one very important holiday season pursuing what he considers the greatest Christmas gift civilization has ever produced:

A Red Ryder BB gun.

Unfortunately, nearly every adult in Ralphie’s life reaches the same conclusion about this plan. His mother objects. His teacher objects. Even Santa Claus objects. Ralphie therefore spends much of December constructing increasingly elaborate strategies to convince someone that putting a projectile weapon in his hands is actually an excellent idea.

His imagination turns those everyday setbacks into enormous adventures. School assignments become masterworks, neighborhood bullies become monsters, decoder pins promise espionage, and a Christmas present becomes an all-consuming campaign.

Through it all, Ralphie remains recognizably a kid: dramatic, hopeful, selfish, frightened, funny, and absolutely certain that adults simply do not understand the importance of the situation.

Sometimes childhood is wonder.

Sometimes childhood is trying desperately to defeat a coordinated anti-BB-gun conspiracy.
