WHY THIS RULES:

Revolger comes from the wonderfully unapologetic era of super robots where one machine was expected to turn into several different things and look cool doing all of them. This MODEROID kit recreates that spirit with Animal Mode, Fighter Mode, and RevolBuster configurations, so the finished build has more to offer than a single fixed robot pose. The chunky armor and classic proportions also give it a distinctly old-school mecha personality compared with sleeker modern designs.

The completed model stands approximately 145 mm, about 5.7 inches tall, which makes it a compact but still substantial display piece. It is fully articulated, includes the Short Blaster, and comes with a stand that supports the RevolBuster configuration, so each mode can be shown off properly. Six-color runners and pre-painted parts also reduce how much finishing work is required to get the core anime look, while still leaving plenty of room for builders who want to go further.

Energy Bomb Gambaruger Revolger MODEROID Model Kit - Model Kits

Revolger is a transforming reinforcement mecha from Energy Bomb Ganbaruger, switching between Animal, Fighter, and massive RevolBuster configurations.

Revolger

Revolger is a transforming reinforcement mecha from Energy Bomb Ganbaruger, arriving with enough alternate configurations to make choosing only one mode feel unnecessarily restrictive.

Its basic forms include Animal Mode and Fighter Mode, allowing Revolger to shift between a beast-like configuration and a humanoid robot built for direct combat. That would already qualify as a respectable giant-robot résumé, but Revolger has another trick waiting: RevolBuster form, which transforms the machine into a massive weapon.

That ability ties Revolger directly into the escalation that makes combining-robot shows so much fun. It is not simply another robot standing beside Ganbaruger. Revolger expands what the team can do, functioning as both an independent combat machine and part of the larger arsenal surrounding the heroes.

Its design leans into that versatility. Claws and a predatory silhouette distinguish Animal Mode, while Fighter Mode brings the armored proportions and weapon-heavy presence expected from an Eldran-series robot. Then the whole thing becomes a gigantic gun, because apparently stopping after two forms would have shown dangerous restraint.

For collectors who love transformation engineering, support mecha, and robots whose job descriptions contain several completely different nouns, Revolger is gloriously on assignment.

Anime celebrates big feelings, big swings, and big style. It is a treasure chest of unforgettable characters and rad aesthetics that keep fans coming back. No matter where you start, there is always something wild, heartfelt, or downright awesome waiting around the corner.

Moderoid

Moderoid is Good Smile Company’s model kit line built for fans who love robots, machines, and larger-than-life designs but still want an approachable build. This line focuses on bringing mecha, vehicles, and mechanical icons into snap-fit kits that feel satisfying without being intimidating. It’s about celebrating big designs and bold silhouettes through hands-on building.

The design philosophy blends clean engineering with character-forward style. Moderoid kits are non-scale and vary in size depending on the subject, which gives designers freedom to prioritize presence and proportion over strict accuracy. Parts snap together smoothly, color separation is thoughtful, and builds are designed to look great straight out of the box. Once assembled, many kits offer articulation and optional parts that support expressive, action-ready poses.

Within Good Smile’s ecosystem, Moderoid fills the “build it yourself” mecha lane without demanding hardcore model-building skills. It’s a welcoming bridge between traditional figures and more complex model kits. At Mythical Mountain, Moderoid is all about building something cool, enjoying the process, and ending up with a robot that feels powerful and shelf-ready.
