WHY THIS RULES:

Rin Himukai’s Unrestrained Desktop Army release is a good reminder that “small figure” does not have to mean “simple figure.” The dark-color armor package, weapon loadout, and Alice Gear styling pack a surprising amount of visual information into a compact format. With a gun, axe, beam effect, armor set, and display stand all included, the figure has enough gear to support several very different combat looks without needing extra purchases.

Rin stands approximately 5.5 inches tall, but the equipped setup spans about 7.9 inches wide, so the figure takes up more lateral space than its height alone suggests. That is useful context for display planning because the appeal comes from the deployed equipment as much as the character itself. Like other Desktop Army releases, Rin is also compatible with weapons and armor from the broader line, which gives the set extra longevity for collectors who enjoy rebuilding and remixing configurations.

WHAT IT'S GOT:

Approximately 5.5 inches tall

The figure is compact vertically, but the geared-up configuration spreads to roughly 7.9 inches wide for a much bigger visual footprint.

Loaded accessory set

Armor, gun, axe, beam effect part, and stand give Rin several display options straight out of the box.

Desktop Army cross-compatibility

Weapons and armor can be mixed with other Desktop Army figures for custom configurations.

Compact but highly detailed

The small-scale format still leaves room for a dense armored design rather than reducing Rin to a simple chibi figure.

Alice Gear Aegis Rin Himukai Unrestrained Desktop Army Figure - Model Kits

Rin Himukai is an athletic Alice Gear Aegis Actress whose elite physical ability, wild instincts, and irrepressible energy make her a natural team mood-maker.

Rin Himukai

Rin Himukai is an Actress from Alice Gear Aegis, a gifted athlete whose instinctive approach to life is essentially: think later, move now.

A student at Gowan Ikuei High School, Rin grew up surrounded by serious sports training and developed exceptional physical ability. That athletic talent carries directly into her work as an Actress, where she ranks among the stronger combatants despite relying heavily on instinct rather than careful overplanning.

Rin is cheerful, energetic, and famously prone to acting before everyone else has finished discussing whether acting is a good idea. That spontaneity can create problems, but it also makes her a natural mood-maker within her team. She trusts her body, her reflexes, and what the official profile affectionately describes as her wild intuition.

Her interests are similarly straightforward. Rin likes eating and moving around, and when asked what sport she wants to pursue someday, her answer is effectively all of them.

There is something deeply admirable about that level of commitment to refusing to pick just one thing.

For Alice Gear Aegis fans, Rin balances high-end combat ability with an uncomplicated joy in motion. She does not need to overthink a challenge.

There is an excellent chance she has already started running toward it.

Desktop Army combines compact articulated figures with interchangeable weapons, armor, and equipment built around a shared modular standard. Original Characters and licensed collaborations can mix display, posing, and customization in the same small-scale collecting system. Your desk may technically become an armory.

Desktop Army

Desktop Army is MegaHouse’s compact articulated figure series built around one dangerously expandable idea: Characters and equipment should be able to mix, match, swap, and combine.

The figures use stylized proportions and a shared equipment standard that lets weapons, armor, mechanical parts, and accessories move between compatible releases. That modular approach turns each figure into more than a finished Character. It becomes another source of parts for whatever tiny armored menace you feel like assembling next.

Desktop Army includes MegaHouse original designs alongside collaborations with anime, games, and other properties. Different releases may lean toward powered armor, mecha companions, fantasy equipment, or Character-specific gear, but the common appeal is the same: pose it, equip it, rearrange it, then immediately start stealing parts from another figure.
