Enmu is the kind of villain who smiles a little too much and enjoys things a little too deeply. As a member of the Twelve Kizuki, specifically one of the Lower Moons serving under Muzan, Enmu weaponizes dreams instead of brute force in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Soft voice, delicate features, pastel hair… and absolutely zero empathy behind the eyes.
What makes Enmu so unsettling is the contrast. He looks almost gentle, even pretty, like he wandered in from a fashion shoot instead of a nightmare. Then he starts talking about suffering with pure delight and you realize, oh no, this one is wired completely wrong. His powers trap victims in happy dreams before turning those dreams into prisons, which is somehow creepier than straight-up violence.
Fans care about Enmu because he represents psychological horror inside an action-heavy series. He is not loud or hulking, he is intimate and invasive. Enmu does not chase you… he slips into your head and pulls the strings.
