WHY THIS RULES:

Cloak has always been a visually tricky character because his whole identity is built around shadow, negative space, and the feeling that there may not be a normal body under the fabric at all. The Marvel Rivals redesign leans into that, and Funko carries it over by giving the Pop! a floating lower silhouette instead of forcing him into a standard pair of legs. That one sculpting choice does more to make this feel like Cloak than a generic dark-costumed hero ever could.

The figure stays within standard Pop! display territory, so the real shelf value comes from the unusual silhouette rather than raw size. The floating body shape gives Cloak a much different visual rhythm from nearby Marvel Pops and pairs naturally with Dagger #1655 without making the two feel like simple mirror-image figures. For a character who has historically been underserved in merchandise, this release finally gives him a design strong enough to stand on its own.

WHAT IT'S GOT:

Marvel Rivals design

The figure is based on Cloak’s modern game redesign rather than a generic comics interpretation.

Floating silhouette

The lower body disappears into the cloak instead of resolving into normal legs, which better captures the character’s shadow-based visual identity.

Pairs with Dagger #1655

Displayed together, Cloak and Dagger read as a connected duo while still keeping very different silhouettes.

Marvel Rivals Cloak Pop! #1654 - Funko - Funko Pops - Common - Marvel

Cloak is Tyrone Johnson, Marvel’s Darkforce-linked hero whose teleportation abilities and enduring partnership with Dagger make him one half of a uniquely connected crime-fighting duo.

Cloak

Cloak is Tyrone Johnson, Marvel’s darkness-wielding hero and longtime partner of Dagger, Tandy Bowen.

Tyrone begins as a teenage runaway whose life changes after he and Tandy are exposed to experimental drugs. Both survive, but with radically different abilities. Tandy becomes Dagger, generating brilliant psionic light, while Tyrone becomes connected to the Darkforce Dimension, allowing him to engulf people in supernatural darkness and transport through that shadowy realm. Marvel describes the pair as “Light and Darkness incarnate.”

That contrast is not merely visual.

Marvel specifically describes their relationship as symbiotic: Dagger’s light helps counteract the effects of Cloak’s connection to the Darkforce. Together, Tyrone and Tandy build a long-running crusade against drug trafficking, organized crime, corporate exploitation, and threats affecting people who often have little power to fight back themselves.

Cloak can stand as his own hero, and Tyrone’s sense of responsibility remains central even when he and Tandy operate apart.

But Cloak and Dagger are one of Marvel’s great complementary partnerships.

One brings the light.

The other brings somewhere extremely unpleasant to put the bad guys.

Marvel Comics delivers iconic heroes, emotional storytelling, and high energy adventures across a universe bursting with style. Fans love its humanity, humor, and bold imagination. It’s powerful, heartfelt, and endlessly exciting.

Marvel

Marvel Comics is high energy heroism woven through decades of bold storytelling, unforgettable characters, and universe changing moments. Spider-Man swings through New York with heart and humor. The X-Men fight for a world that fears them. The Avengers assemble when things get cosmic, chaotic, or just plain out of hand. Fans love Marvel because it feels human. Even the gods, geniuses, and sorcerers wrestle with real emotions, real struggles, and real growth.

But the Marvel Universe is huge. It’s cosmic epics with the Guardians. It’s street level justice with Daredevil. It’s Wakanda’s royal sci fi brilliance, Asgard’s mythic storms, and the Fantastic Four testing the limits of imagination. Every character brings a spark that changes the whole universe around them. It’s emotional, funny, explosive, messy, and endlessly creative. Marvel stories don’t just show power. They show heart.

What keeps fans coming back is the connection. Marvel heroes feel like people you root for, laugh with, worry about, and celebrate. The stories are big, but the feelings are bigger. It’s superhero storytelling with soul.

Funko Pop! Marvel transforms iconic Marvel heroes and villains into stylized vinyl collectibles packed with personality. From comics to movies and beyond, this massive line celebrates every corner of the Marvel Universe. Super heroic shelf energy.

Funko Pop! Marvel

Funko Pop! Marvel is one of the biggest and most recognizable branches of the entire Funko universe, and honestly… that feels appropriate for Marvel. This line transforms the heroes, villains, antiheroes, cosmic weirdos, and multiversal chaos-makers of Marvel into the instantly recognizable Pop! style, giving fans a massive collectible universe that somehow keeps getting bigger.

The design philosophy keeps the classic Funko formula intact: oversized heads, simplified features, and bold silhouettes that make characters recognizable at a glance. But because Marvel’s visual history is so huge, the line gets to play in a ton of different sandboxes. Comic-inspired looks, movie designs, alternate timelines, armored suits, symbiotes, holiday versions, zombie versions… if Marvel has done it, there’s a decent chance Funko has turned it into a Pop!.

Within the broader Funko ecosystem, Pop! Marvel is absolutely one of the flagship lines. The sheer variety means collectors can focus on a single hero, a specific movie, a comic era, or go fully unhinged and try to build an entire multiverse on their shelf. At Mythical Mountain, Funko Pop! Marvel represents comic-book energy, collector chaos, and the pure joy of seeing decades of superhero history transformed into funky little vinyl weirdos.
