The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) Leatherface Killing Mask

Leatherface’s Killing Mask is the face most people picture when they think of the original 1974 Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and there is a reason it still feels nasty after all these years. The different flesh tones, heavy stitching, uneven features, and visible mouth underneath sell the idea that you are looking at one face stretched over another rather than a clean monster design. Trick or Treat Studios bases this version on Leatherface’s primary attack scenes, which is also why it reads as the franchise’s most immediately recognizable mask.

This is a full over-the-head latex mask sculpted by Connor Deless, with the material doing a lot of the heavy lifting for the layered-skin illusion. Unlike a hard plastic replica, the latex lets the face sit with more natural folds and irregular contours, which suits a design that is supposed to look handmade and deeply wrong. It works for costume wear, but it also has enough sculptural detail to function as a display piece on a mask stand when Halloween is nowhere in sight.
