WHY THIS RULES:

Something mysterious is rising from the Black Lagoon, and this time it's a beautiful translucent blue. Super7 gives Universal Monsters' classic Gill-man a retro Japanese toy-inspired makeover in this clear-blue ReAction+ action figure. The transparent colorway draws attention to the creature's scaly sculpt while giving one of horror's most recognizable monsters an unexpectedly playful new look.

Standing approximately 3.75 inches tall, the figure features 12 points of articulation for posing on a monster shelf or among a collection of vintage-style toys. Its distinctive coffin-shaped card packaging celebrates the look of classic Japanese kaiju collectibles. It's a striking variation for Creature fans who like their Universal Monsters with a little extra color.

Universal Monsters Creature from the Black Lagoon (Clear Blue) Super7 ReAction+ Figure - Action Figures - Horror

The Creature from the Black Lagoon is an ancient amphibious being discovered during a scientific expedition in the Amazon. Fans connect with his tragic isolation and haunting beauty. He blends monster horror with deep empathy. The Creature is fear shaped by misunderstanding.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon

The Creature from the Black Lagoon is a tragic marvel of classic horror, an ancient amphibious being discovered in the remote Amazon during a scientific expedition. Known as the Gill-man, he exists at the crossroads of humanity and nature, powerful, intelligent, and completely out of place in the modern world. His story begins not with malice, but with intrusion.

Fans love the Creature because he’s more sorrowful than sinister. He’s curious, territorial, and deeply isolated, reacting to humans who don’t understand him and often don’t try to. The Creature’s fascination with humanity, especially beauty and companionship, gives his story an emotional undercurrent that sets him apart from other Universal Monsters. Fear and empathy swim side by side here.

There’s a haunting elegance to him. The Creature represents nature pushed into the spotlight, misunderstood and ultimately punished for existing outside human rules. His silent presence, expressive eyes, and iconic underwater imagery make him one of horror’s most visually striking and emotionally resonant figures.

Universal Monsters celebrates the original icons of horror, from Dracula and Frankenstein to the Creature and the Wolf Man. Fans love the gothic style, tragic stories, and timeless designs. These monsters shaped an entire genre and still cast a haunting spell today.

Universal Monsters

Universal Monsters is the beating black-and-white heart of classic horror. Dracula’s aristocratic menace, Frankenstein’s tragic power, the Mummy’s ancient curse, the Wolf Man’s tortured howl, the Creature’s eerie grace… these icons built the foundation for everything spooky that came after. Fans love them because they’re more than monsters. They’re moods, myths, and the original cinematic legends who turned shadows into stories.

Each creature brings a different flavor of fear and beauty. Frankenstein’s Monster aches with humanity. The Invisible Man spirals into gleeful madness. The Bride dazzles in a single electrifying appearance. These films mix gothic romance, poetic tragedy, and early movie magic that still feels enchanting today. They’re theatrical, atmospheric, and full of practical effects that remain charming, eerie, and powerful all at once.

What keeps Universal Monsters timeless is their soul. These aren’t just creatures to fear… they’re characters you feel for. They ushered in generations of fandom, Halloween culture, monster merch, and the entire modern horror landscape. They’re forever icons, still lurking in the moonlight.
