Sanrio My Melody Mermaid (Version B) Big Sofvimates Figure - Toys

My Melody is Sanrio's beloved bunny whose gentle spirit and timeless charm have made her a favorite around the world. With kindness as her greatest strength, she reminds fans that compassion is always in style.

My Melody

If kindness had a mascot...

It would probably look a lot like My Melody.

One of Sanrio's most beloved characters, My Melody has been charming fans since 1975 with her gentle personality, iconic pink hood, and unwavering belief that every day is a little brighter when you treat others with kindness. Living in the magical world of Hello Kitty and Friends, she's known for her warm heart, thoughtful nature, and the comforting sense of happiness she brings wherever she goes.

She's the friend everyone hopes to have.

What makes My Melody so special is her sincerity. She doesn't need to be the loudest voice in the room or the center of attention. Instead, she leads through compassion, always willing to lend a helping hand, share a smile, or encourage someone who's having a difficult day. Her optimism feels genuine, making her one of Sanrio's most enduring icons.

Sometimes...

The softest voice carries the farthest.

Visually, My Melody is the very definition of timeless charm. Her signature hood, originally red and now most often pink, frames her sweet expression and floppy rabbit ears, creating one of the most recognizable silhouettes in all of kawaii culture. Whether she's enjoying tea, baking treats, or spending time with friends, every appearance radiates warmth and comfort.

Fans love My Melody because she represents the simple joys in life. She's gentle without being fragile, optimistic without feeling naïve, and endlessly welcoming to everyone she meets. Even her playful rivalry with Kuromi feels less like a battle and more like two very different personalities learning to appreciate one another.

Also... yeah... if My Melody is disappointed in your behavior...

You should probably apologize immediately.

Sofvimates brings classic soft vinyl style to modern anime and pop-culture characters. With rounded sculpts and friendly proportions, these figures focus on charm and personality. They’re playful, approachable, and perfect for adding a lighter vibe to any collection.

Sofvimates

Sofvimates is a Banpresto figure line that taps straight into the classic Japanese sofubi tradition, soft vinyl figures with bold shapes, friendly proportions, and tons of character charm. These figures are all about approachability and fun, blending nostalgic toy vibes with modern fandom favorites. If it feels like something you’d spot on a toy shelf in Japan and instantly smile at, you’re in the right zone.

The sculpting style leans rounded and slightly exaggerated, giving each character a warm, approachable presence. Sofvimates figures are non-articulated and typically compact, but they pack in clear character reads and solid detail where it counts. They’re designed to feel playful rather than intense, making them a great contrast to hyper-dynamic statue lines or high-drama action poses.

Within Banpresto’s wider lineup, Sofvimates fills the cozy, toy-forward niche. It celebrates characters as mascots and companions rather than battle machines, which makes the line especially appealing to fans who love cute interpretations, softer aesthetics, and display setups that feel welcoming and fun.
