WHY THIS RULES:

Kuromi already lives comfortably on the spooky side of cute, so putting Sanrio's favorite little troublemaker inside a jack-o'-lantern is almost unfairly perfect. This Jim Shore Halloween design keeps her signature mischievous personality intact while surrounding her with carved pumpkin details, including tiny jack-o'-lantern accents around her ears. It is seasonal without turning Kuromi into somebody else, which is exactly why the whole ridiculous little pumpkin situation works.

Standing approximately 5 inches tall, this hand-painted stone resin figurine brings Jim Shore's carved-look textures and folk-art patterning to a compact display piece with plenty to notice up close. At roughly 4.4 inches long and 2.6 inches wide, it gives the pumpkin costume enough room to read clearly without demanding a giant Halloween shelf, making it an easy fit for Sanrio collections, spooky displays, or the annual migration of pumpkins onto every available surface.

WHAT IT'S GOT:

Kuromi Goes Full Jack-o'-Lantern

A pumpkin costume plus tiny jack-o'-lantern accents around her ears push Kuromi's spooky-cute side into full Halloween mode.

Hand-Painted Stone Resin

Jim Shore's resin construction, carved-look detailing, and folk-art patterning give this approximately 5-inch figurine plenty of decorative texture at a compact scale.

Folk Art Meets Sanrio Mischief

Traditional Jim Shore motifs give Kuromi a distinctive folk-art look without sanding down the rebellious personality that makes the character fun.

Hello Kitty and Friends Kuromi in Pumpkin Costume Jim Shore Figurine - Home Decor - Figurines

Kuromi is Sanrio's delightfully mischievous antiheroine, blending punk-inspired style with an unexpectedly kind heart. Equal parts edgy and adorable, she's become one of the most beloved characters in the world of Hello Kitty and Friends.

Kuromi

Cute?

Absolutely.

Sweet?

...Well, sometimes.

Kuromi is one of Sanrio's most popular characters, bringing a playful punk-rock attitude to the colorful world of Hello Kitty and Friends. With her signature black jester hood, pink skull emblem, and delightfully mischievous personality, she's become the perfect counterpoint to Hello Kitty's sunny optimism, proving that being a little rebellious can be every bit as adorable.

She doesn't break the rules.

She just... asks them to loosen up a little.

Originally introduced as My Melody's friendly rival, Kuromi loves practical jokes, dramatic entrances, and showing off her tough exterior. Underneath all the swagger, though, she's surprisingly thoughtful, enjoys writing in her diary, has a soft spot for romance, and cares deeply about her friends. That's part of her charm. She's all bark, very little bite, and a whole lot of personality.

She's goth...

In the way only Sanrio could make goth.

Visually, Kuromi is unforgettable. Her black hood, expressive ears, tiny fangs, and iconic pink skull create one of Sanrio's boldest character designs. Equal parts spooky and adorable, she effortlessly bridges the gap between cute and cool, making her a favorite for everything from plush toys to fashion collaborations.

Fans love Kuromi because she's relatable. She's confident without being mean, dramatic without being cruel, and independent while still valuing friendship. Whether you're drawn to her playful mischief or her secretly sweet heart, Kuromi reminds everyone that it's okay to stand out and embrace your own style.

Also... yeah... if your idea of being "bad" is writing in your diary and eating sweets...

You're probably still invited to the tea party.

Spooky Season is the Affiliation for Halloween-coded collectibles, monster mash energy, pumpkin patches, ghosts, witches, skeletons, black cats, trick-or-treat vibes, and festive fall weirdness. It is not every horror item in the crypt, but it is the place for products that show up wearing a costume, carrying candy, glowing orange, or looking suspiciously like they were summoned by a plastic jack-o’-lantern.

Spooky Season

Spooky Season is where Halloween takes over the toy shelf. This Affiliation connects products tied to fall fright fun, costume-party chaos, trick-or-treat nostalgia, pumpkins, ghosts, bats, witches, skeletons, black cats, monsters, candy, and the general feeling that the store should maybe smell faintly like leaves, chocolate, and theatrical fog.

From creepy-cute characters in costume to pumpkin-powered variants, haunted décor, mischievous monsters, and playful little things that go bump in the night, Spooky Season is all about the fun side of Halloween collecting. It can be spooky, silly, scary, sweet, or strange, sometimes all at once. Around here, Halloween is not just a date on the calendar, it is a whole mood, and occasionally that mood has fangs.

The Jim Shore Collection reimagines beloved characters through the artist's signature folk-art style, featuring hand-carved textures, intricate patterns, and timeless craftsmanship. From Disney and Peanuts to Sanrio and beyond, these figures are as heartwarming as the characters they celebrate.

Jim Shore Collection

The Jim Shore Collection transforms some of the world's most beloved characters into timeless works of folk art. Best known for its distinctive hand-carved appearance and richly detailed patterns, the line blends classic Americana with beloved pop-culture icons, creating collectible figurines that feel both nostalgic and completely unique. Whether celebrating Disney magic, Peanuts charm, Sanrio sweetness, Garfield's sarcasm, or countless other fan-favorite properties, every piece carries the unmistakable signature style that has made Jim Shore one of the most recognizable names in collectible art.

The design philosophy draws inspiration from traditional American folk art, quilting, rosemaling, and hand-carved wooden sculptures. While the figures are produced using modern materials, each piece is sculpted to resemble a lovingly carved wooden keepsake, complete with intricate textures and decorative patterns. The result is a style that feels warm, handcrafted, and instantly recognizable, turning familiar characters into heirloom-quality display pieces.

At Mythical Mountain, the Jim Shore Collection offers a different kind of fandom. These aren't action figures or statues frozen in dramatic battle poses. They're celebrations of beloved characters through the lens of an artist whose work has become every bit as iconic as the licenses themselves. They bring warmth, craftsmanship, and a little storybook magic to any collection.
