WHY THIS RULES:

Retsu Kaioh is one of Baki's great reminders that raw power is only half the story. His strength comes wrapped in discipline, pride, and a lifetime of Chinese martial arts training, so a good figure of him needs to look precise as well as dangerous. This Giant Heartbeat Ichibansho statue catches that balance in a dynamic fighting stance, with his braid, bare torso, red sash, and prosthetic leg all contributing to a silhouette that reads as unmistakably Retsu.

The PVC figure stands approximately 25 cm, about 9.8 inches tall, giving the pose enough room to show off both the musculature and the sweeping lines of his martial-arts stance. That size lands squarely in substantial display-piece territory without becoming an oversized statue. For Baki collectors, this is the kind of supporting-character release that makes a shelf feel like the wider fighting world instead of just a row of title characters.

WHAT IT'S GOT:

Retsu Kaioh in combat

The extended striking pose emphasizes the character's martial-arts identity rather than presenting him as a neutral portrait.

Approximately 9.8 inches tall

At about 25 cm, the statue has enough scale to show off the sculpted musculature, braid, sash, and prosthetic-leg detail.

Baki Retsu Kaioh Giant Heartbeat Ichibansho Figure - Statues

Retsu Kaioh is Baki’s elite Chinese kenpo master, carrying 4,000 years of martial tradition into fights against monsters, champions, and impossible opponents.

Retsu Kaioh

Retsu Kaioh is one of Baki’s great martial artists, a master of Chinese kenpo whose skill is presented as the product of 4,000 years of fighting tradition refined into one extremely dangerous man.

The title “Kaioh” marks him as an elite figure within Chinese martial arts, and Retsu carries that reputation with fierce pride. He fights with precision, discipline, and an enormous technical vocabulary, treating combat as both practical violence and proof of the strength of Chinese kenpo.

That pride never makes him static. Retsu repeatedly tests himself against fighters from wildly different schools and eras, adapting his approach without abandoning the tradition at the center of his identity. After losing his right foot in battle with Pickle, he does not retire from competition. Instead, he enters professional boxing, determined to demonstrate that Chinese martial arts can succeed even within another combat sport’s rules.

That combination of confidence and curiosity makes Retsu particularly compelling. He is deadly serious about his craft, but serious does not mean closed-minded.

When a new fighting problem appears, Retsu’s instinct is not to complain that the rules have changed.

It is to find out whether 4,000 years has an answer.

Statues turn favorite characters, creatures, and iconic moments into display-ready works of fandom art. From anime PVC figures and superhero character pieces to fantasy busts, video game icons, and Disney-inspired collectibles, this category covers a wide range of shelf-worthy treasures. Many statues focus on one powerful pose or scene, letting the sculpt, paint, and overall presentation shine. Whether dramatic, elegant, adorable, or gigantic, statues bring serious presence to any collection.

Statues

Statues are where fandom becomes display art. These pieces capture favorite characters, creatures, icons, and unforgettable moments with a level of presence that makes them feel built for the spotlight. Whether it is an ornate anime figure, a dramatic superhero character study, a fantasy bust, a video game legend, or a charming Disney-inspired collectible, statues bring major personality and polish to any collection.

Unlike highly articulated action figures, statues are usually designed around a specific pose, scene, or visual idea. That focus lets the sculpt, paint, base, costume details, effects, and overall composition do the heavy lifting. Some statues are elegant and expressive, some are explosive and dynamic, and some are just plain massive in the best possible way. This is the kind of collectible that turns a shelf into a showcase.

For collectors, statues are all about impact. They celebrate the characters and worlds you love with a sense of permanence, style, and “stand back and admire this thing” energy. Whether you are building a themed display, adding one premium piece to anchor a collection, or finding that perfect character that deserves the fancy shelf, statues make fandom feel legendary.

Masterlise Ichibansho delivers large-scale, non-articulated statues with bold poses and serious presence. These figures capture iconic characters in confident, centerpiece-ready sculpts. Big energy, clean detail, and easy display appeal.

Masterlise Ichibansho

Masterlise Ichibansho takes the bold presence of the Masterlise statue line and brings it into a more widely accessible release format. These figures are designed to feel like centerpiece collectibles, capturing characters in confident, iconic poses that instantly command attention. If Masterlise is about prestige, Ichibansho is about letting more fans bring that energy home.

The sculpting philosophy stays focused on impact and character authority. Figures are non-articulated and larger than standard prize-style releases, giving them a strong silhouette and visual weight on the shelf. Facial sculpts are expressive, anatomy is clean and powerful, and poses are chosen to feel definitive rather than fleeting. These figures aren’t about motion blur or effects, they’re about presence.

Within Bandai Spirits’ lineup, Masterlise Ichibansho sits comfortably between lottery-exclusive Masterlise releases and other display-focused statue lines. It delivers that same “main character energy” without the randomness of a prize draw. For collectors, it’s a reliable way to get big, statement figures that feel intentional and display-ready.
