Toy Bonnie is the newer-generation rabbit animatronic introduced in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, part of the revamped Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza cast built to replace the restaurant’s aging performers.
His design dramatically reworks the familiar Bonnie silhouette with bright blue coloring, rounded features, rosy cheeks, and a polished appearance suited to the restaurant’s supposedly more modern and family-friendly direction.
The word “supposedly” matters.
Like the other active animatronics, Toy Bonnie roams the restaurant after hours and eventually reaches the security office. Official Ultimate Custom Night material continues treating him as a distinct named character with his own behavior: he enters through the right side and must be fooled with the Freddy Fazbear mask.
That continued separation across games makes the identity boundary straightforward.
Toy Bonnie is not simply Bonnie with an upgraded shell for one scene or collectible.
He is one of the Toy animatronics, a separate restaurant character who exists alongside older versions of Bonnie within the same franchise.
Same species.
Same instrument family.
Entirely separate reason to quit your job.
