Stacker Pentecost is the commanding Pan Pacific Defense Corps marshal from Pacific Rim, a former Jaeger pilot whose discipline, authority, and willingness to sacrifice everything make him one of humanity’s defining leaders during the Kaiju War.

Long before commanding the Hong Kong Shatterdome, Pentecost fought Kaiju directly as a Ranger and piloted Coyote Tango. Years of exposure to the poorly shielded systems of early Jaegers took a severe physical toll, eventually forcing him out of regular piloting and into command.

That did not move him very far from the fight.

Pentecost oversees the battered Jaeger program as funding disappears and humanity retreats behind coastal walls. He recruits Raleigh Becket back into service, supports Mako Mori’s path toward becoming a Ranger, and keeps the remaining crews focused as the war approaches its apparent end.

When the final mission demands another pilot, Pentecost returns to the Drift himself aboard Striker Eureka.

He leads like someone who already knows the cost.

Then he pays it anyway.
