JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is more than just an anime — it’s a multi-generational, multi-decade journey through fashion-forward fistfights, surreal powers, and gloriously exaggerated storytelling. Created by Hirohiko Araki in 1987 and still going strong today, JoJo’s is split into parts, each following a different member of the Joestar bloodline as they face off against increasingly powerful and peculiar enemies.
From the gothic horror of Phantom Blood and the globe-trotting mayhem of Stardust Crusaders to the gangland drama of Golden Wind and the prison-break chaos of Stone Ocean, each story arc builds a uniquely bizarre world filled with supernatural powers known as Stands, imaginative villains, and iconic poses that have launched a thousand memes.
What sets JoJo’s apart — besides its commitment to all things fabulous — is its seamless blend of action, fashion, music references, and unabashed weirdness. The art style evolves dramatically across the series, with increasingly detailed character designs and flamboyant color palettes that cement its place as a true stylistic outlier in anime and manga.
Whether you're here for Dio's dramatic flair, Jotaro's stoic cool, or the surprisingly heartfelt themes of legacy and destiny, JoJo’s delivers spectacle, soul, and swagger in equal measure.

Fun Fact
Creator Hirohiko Araki named many Stands and characters after Western rock bands and musicians - including Killer Queen, Red Hot Chili Pepper, and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Araki's art has been featured in real-world museums — including the Louvre — further proving that JoJo’s is both high fashion and high art.
